Beehives 360x240

Most weekends, you may visit the association apiary to help Ian Rees (Apiary Manager) look through our colonies and practice most of the manipulations you will expect to perform on your own colonies. Normally we would meet at 2:00 pm on Saturday, weather permitting.

Don’t forget, if you want to get a close look at the bees you must wear a clean bee-suit and gloves.

Bee suits may be borrowed from the Association by prior arrangement - send an email to our Storekeeper to arrange collection.

There are also other events and visits to members' apiaries. Details and directions will be published by email and through our regular Scarborough Bulletins.
